About the brewery
The roots of the Franciscan brewery can be traced back to 1363. This year is called “the Franciscans Bräustatt bey” near the residence in Munich for the first time. The name is due to the Franciscan monastery, which lay diagonally across and took place with the probably always lively exchange.
